Gus, age 26: 

• Chief Complaint: "I'd like to improve my smile, my front two teeth really bother me." Patient unhappy with diastema and "how much the front teeth hang down."

Examination: 

• Comprehensive clinical exam completed: full series radiographs, pano, and periodontal exam.

• Excellent oral hygiene.

• No decay present.

• Extraction of third molars in high school.

Evaluation:

• Mild crowding of mandibular anterior teeth.

• Restriction of upper arch in premolar region.

• Diastema between teeth #8/9.

• Excessive overbite of maxillary central incisors

Treatment:

• 16 Aligners, 7 day wear/aligner

• 1 Refinement: 9 Aligners, 5 day wear/aligner

• Munchie to seat lingers upon insertion

• Munchie use 15 minutes 2x/day for acceleration
