Dr. Martia Martinez

Chair: Orlando

Dr. Martinez is excited to lead the AACA Orlando chapter, particularly because Orlando is her hometown, reflecting her deep commitment to advancing dental practices within her community. She completed her undergraduate studies at Florida State University and earned her DMD from the University of Pittsburgh. With a profound familial tradition in dentistry, she joined her father's dental practice in 2001, where her mother also served as a hygienist. Following her father's retirement, Dr. Martinez assumed control of the family's cosmetic and family dental practice, now branded as Orange County Smiles, OC Smiles, with a Florida-themed motif centered around oranges, a nod to the region's identity. Committed to providing top-tier cosmetic and family dentistry services, she aims to foster a compassionate, inclusive, and stress-free environment for her patients.

Since 2007, Dr. Martinez has been offering Invisalign treatment and holds a position as a Fellow of the American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA). Dr. Martinez is passionate about the transformative impact of Invisalign, expressing her love for how it allows her to change her patients' lives by giving them beautiful, healthy smiles. She agrees with Dr. Galler that this ability helps patients achieve their maximum potential in life. Actively engaged with AACA since 2016, she maintains that her involvement enables her to remain abreast of cutting-edge advancements in the field and to stay ahead of the curve.

Additionally, outside of work, Dr. Martinez enjoys attending Orlando City soccer games with her husband, embarking on long walks with her rescue dog, Rocky, and engaging in weight training and yoga.
