Shelly, age 47:

  • Chief Complaint: The patient’s chief concern was to maintain tooth #24, to uncrowd her upper anterior teeth, and shift her midline as much as possible. Proper expectations were given regarding the midline. I explained to her that I don’t chase the midline because it leads to major problems with her bite, like her back teeth not touching (POB).

Examination:

  • Complete Clinical Exam

Evaluation:

  • Class I malocclusion with upper anterior crowding. She had localized recession, bone loss, and +1 mobility on #24.

Treatment:

  • Invisalign Comprehensive Case: 17 Aligners / 7 day Rotations, 1 refinement/ 7 aligners / 7 day rotations, 2 refinement/ 7 aligners UPPER ONLY/ 7 day rotations

  • EOCA Munchies: 15 minutes, 3 times a day Use

  • Munchies when reseating Aligners
