Despite her initial career aspirations in law or academia after earning her Bachelor's degree from Adrian College, Kayla's innate passion for helping others led her down a different path. With diverse management experiences and volunteer work with AmeriCorps, she eventually found her niche in dentistry upon relocating to Texas and joining her first dental practice. Over the past decade in the dental field, Kayla's journey from humble beginnings as an errand runner to her current role as Director of Operations highlights her dedication and proficiency in various aspects of practice management, patient and team management, revenue cycle management, and staff training. Her position not only allows her to merge her passion for aiding others but also emphasizes the significance of effective policies, procedures, and communication for optimizing the patient and team experience. Beyond her professional endeavors, Kayla finds fulfillment and support from her husband Rory and daughter Aubrey, and volunteers as Director for the AAYFDT drill team Klein Derrick Dolls, showcasing her commitment to community engagement and mentorship.
