Setting up Your Successful Teen Invisalign Case

Sometimes younger patients can benefit from using appliances to make their experience with Invisalign quicker and more predictable.

Through expansion, distalization and M/D correction in a preteen patient, we can take a considerable amount of time off the overall treatment of these patients.

Appliance use is very straightforward and can be accomplished quite readily by a general dentist using Invisalign.

Intro to Treating Adolescent and Teen Patients

Treating our younger patients with Invisalign is sometimes avoided due to concerns of the doctor of treating a growing patient.

In this webinar, we will:

• Demystify the 9 to 15 year old demographic and make it possible for you to begin treating simple cases of this group tomorrow.

• Provide the viewer with an introduction to treating patients as young as nine with Invisalign.

• Phase 1 and phase 2 treatment strategies will be presented.

• We will also introduce the use of simple fixed and removable functional appliances to prepare the arches for more predictable clear aligner treatment.

• Concerns of treating a growing patient will be discussed.

• Treatment of Class II occlusions using distalizing and Mandibular Advancement techniques will also be included.

Treating our younger patients uses the same skills you have used with your adult patients and it is tremendously rewarding to watch a child blossom when they are no longer embarrassed to smile.
