Dr. C.J. Metz
Dr. C.J. Metz was prepared to quit providing aligner therapy to his patients in 2021. Unpredictable outcomes, frequent Refinements, and difficulty obtaining any meaningful support left him feeling isolated and lost, until fate led him to the AACA. C.J. and his team at Vibrant Dentistry increased their monthly Invisalign starts 800% after attending Reingage in March of 2022, all while experiencing more satisfied patients, faster treatment times, lower stress, fewer Refinements, and more fun! His passions for creativity and constant improvement have driven him to pursue multiple patents across several industries. The ups and downs of practice ownership, including rebuilding after bankruptcy in 2010 and being diagnosed with ADD in 2016, have inspired him to be an advocate for mental health. His YouTube channel, Dentate, will focus on supporting owner/operator dentists, and is currently in development. A native of North Platte, Nebraska, he received his BS in human biology from Chadron State College and graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s College of Dentistry in 2005. C.J. is a 6-time winner of a peer-nominated Phoenix magazine Top Dentist award in Cosmetic Dentistry; a 5-time winner of a peer-nominated Phoenix magazine Top Dentist award in General Dentistry; and the winner of Jay Geier’s Lucky Lamborghini competition in 2012.
