Jaime Breziner DDS, a highly accomplished dentist, was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. After completing his high school education, he migrated to San Diego with a dream of pursuing higher education. His determination and passion for the field of dentistry led him to the University of California in San Diego (UCSD), where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. Eager to further his dental education, Dr. Breziner attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
Upon graduation, Dr. Breziner faced a unique challenge. Rather than waiting for two months for the California board exam results, he decided to utilize his Western Regional Boards results and secured a job in Tucson, Arizona. Working tirelessly, often taking double shifts, he honed his skills and gained confidence in his abilities. After a year, he returned to San Diego and began his journey as an independent practitioner.
Dr. Breziner started his practice from scratch, renting an operatory from another dentist (prosthodontist) in the prestigious La Jolla area. Balancing his time between working as an associate dentist three days a week and building his own practice two days a week, he persevered. A year later, he expanded his practice by opening another office in a different area of San Diego, specifically targeting the Hispanic population of North San Diego. Initially equipped with two operatories, Dr. Breziner's dedication and hard work paid off as his practice grew rapidly. Within four years, he had expanded to six operatories and employed two associates. Simultaneously, he continued to develop his office in La Jolla.
After thirteen years, Dr. Breziner made the decision to sell his North County office. With the goal of further growth and development, he built a state-of-the-art eight-operatory office. In a new venture, he invited the dentist from whom he was renting an operatory to become his partner, merging their practices on a 50/50 basis with a buyout agreement. Together, they practiced for eleven years before Dr. Breziner bought out his partner, as previously agreed.
Once again solo, Dr. Breziner dedicated himself to expanding his practice. Within five years, he successfully increased his practice's revenue from 2.8 million to an impressive 4.8 million. To accommodate the growing demand, he hired two associates and an independent contractor periodontist, enabling him to focus on his true passion: cosmetic dentistry and Invisalign treatments. Driven by his commitment to excellence, he pursued extensive education and attended numerous courses to enhance his skills in Invisalign. His dedication and continuous learning propelled him from gold and platinum levels to diamond and diamond plus levels. This achievement not only expanded his expertise but also resulted in an influx of restorative, cosmetic, and prosthetic cases.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr. Breziner finds joy and fulfillment in his personal life. He has been happily married to his wife Karen for 30 years, and together they have raised three remarkable children. His oldest child followed in his footsteps, becoming a dentist and currently specializing in periodontics and implants. The middle child is currently in her third year of medical school, while the youngest proudly serves as an IDF soldier in Israel.
Dr. Breziner's dedication to the field of dentistry extends beyond his own practice. He currently serves as the AACA Invisalign Study Club Chair in San Diego and is a member of the AACA Board of Directors. Through these roles, he actively contributes to the dental community by sharing his knowledge and expertise with fellow professionals.
