Dr. Palmi Testa

Dr. Palmi Testa was born in Chicago, but has been proud to call Houston, TX home since 1979. She completed her undergraduate education at Southwestern University, in Georgetown, TX receiving a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry. Dr. Testa earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas-Dental Branch Houston in 1994.

After practicing with her sister/mentor for seven years, in September 2002, she opened her own dental practice, River Oaks Dental Arts, in the heart of Houston. Dr. Testa is proud to have created an environment to serve her patients in a warm, modern, technology-driven practice. Dr. Testa uses technology to be able to diagnose and treat all disease processes in their earliest stages. Creating relationships with her patients and listening to their desires, gives Dr. Testa her inspiration to provide them the care and the smiles they deserve. Her love for her patients and her attention to detail is why her patients love her.

Dr. Testa has completed several hundred hours of Continuing Education in all aspects of General dentistry. She has lectured nationally for Biolase technologies, and is one of the founding members of the WCLI. Her major expertise is in cosmetic dentistry. From minor bonding, to full mouth rehabilitations, Dr. Testa strives to ”Create a work of art in every smile” (her office tagline). Dr. Testa’s desire to stay at the forefront of dentistry has taken her to work on mastering the relationship with Digital Smile Design and Invisalign. The ongoing changes in dentistry help preserve her excitement in her profession.

Dr. Testa is a member of the ADA, AGD, AACD, ALD, HDA and AACA. She is a proud recipient of the Golden Aligner for her patient transformation awarded at the first AACA Convention. In her spare time Dr. Testa loves to spend time with her son, her dog, family, and friends. She enjoys SCUBA diving, skiing, dancing, traveling, and learning with friends.
